The members of Third Church of Christ, Scientist in Grand Rapids, Michigan look forward to welcoming you at our Sunday services, Wednesday testimony meetings, Christian Science Reading Room and events. We are dedicated to responding to those seeking practical spiritual solutions. Please feel free to contact us if you have any level of interest.
Putting into practice the ideas found in the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy is fundamental to our daily lives. Mrs. Eddy is the discoverer and founder of Christian Science. Her discovery of Christian Science came in 1866, when she was healed, after a severe fall, by reading one of Jesus’ healings in the Bible. She went on to establish “a church without creeds”, begin several periodicals, including The Christian Science Monitor, and write numerous books that have been translated into many languages.

The Reading Room and Christian Science services and meetings are in the same building, located on the edge of the beautiful quarry lake, at 5300 Northland Dr. Grand Rapids. The Christian Science Reading Room is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, or by appointment, 616-551-3298 or csrr.grandrapids@gmail.com.
